The Old Millbrook School Family Centre Rain Barrel Fundraising Sale

Category(ies) is pleased to partner with The Old Millbrook School Family Centre in support of their current goal to purchase a fire suppression system for our kitchen. This will ensure we have use of a stove in the family centre so we can make hot meals on our potluck days, to boil eggs for the children to make coloured Easter eggs, cookies for the children to decorate or whatever our creative minds can come up with! Also the funds raised will go to the day to day needs of the facility like craft supplies, cleaning supplies, healthy snacks and drinks for our users.

The rain barrel sale, distribution and pickup is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th, 2015 and will take place from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at 1 Dufferin Street, Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0. Only rain barrels ordered in advance are guaranteed to be available.

Prices begin at $50 per barrel. A variety of optional items including flexible downspout pipes, downspout diverters, rain barrel stands, dispensing hose and additional lengths of overflow hose can also be purchased. Please bring your receipt to the sale event to claim your products.

Email Terri Wallace at for information not available on the website or if you need assistance with online ordering.

About The Old Millbrook School Family Centre – As a registered non-profit charitable organization (892477019RR0001), incorporated in 2001, the vision of the OMSFC is to take a community directed approach to providing accessible programs, services and resources aimed at promoting the growth, education, recreation, nurturing and well-being of children, in the care of families and caregivers in our community. There are very few local programs that encourage and promote physical activity for toddlers and young children. Offering a service at no cost to its users and located within the town proper ensures that all families of all socio-economic levels and those without transportation are able to participate. The program fosters kindergarten readiness and encourages community interaction and engagement.
